Where lingered dream of Palestine?
In the throes of Jordan’s custody!
Was it to redeem Arab bloodline
That fief turned into a tragedy!

Sham pilgrims of vain pilgrimage
They invented their new alibi
“Jordan is worth our sacrilege
Palestine only truth, Jordan is a lie”!

What began that day as ‘faith’s conquest’
Went on to seize Jordan almost
Palestinians played dual blood-fest
Israel and Jordan paid its cost!

King ‘failed’ his faith to save his throne
The massacre of flare, turned mutineer
Once brothers, who were, now left all alone
UNITED BY FAITH, DIVIDED BY FEAR!
