“Allahu Akbar” was heard last
Then screams of life drowning in death
As world watched hatred’s act, aghast
Whilst thousands clinged to their last breath!
Why eleventh day of September
Was baptized and blackened by blood
How can world ever disremember
Why hate bloomed out of belief’s bud!
Was it Laden or history’s heist
A grisly revenge for deceit of trust
Only death was left in destiny’s fist
For her children to be buried in dust!
No prayer was answered on that day
When Satan turned God and God turned wraith
American Dream died in that melee
When Fear Eclipsed Faith!
