The Bloody Ballads Of The War

For the reasons – Why we lost our sons
During funeral of spring and fest of fall
Taught life’s lessons death’s dimensions
Lest we forget last bloodbath’s recall!

A mother mourns in every home
Her martyr who never ever returned
He kept alive hate’s chromosome
In his son’s heart before he burned!

Behold the outrage of my village
Its church-bell always rings death-knell
For those who set on a pilgrimage
Whose deathly tale no one dare tell!

Our frontiers end where barbed wires
Crucify our misery’s metaphor
Vultures o’er them sing satires
The Bloody Ballads Of The War!
