Slip off. my lips, lest the, life’s chalice
Last dregs, of my verve, betray my fist
Thou hold, thy child, in the lap, of bliss
In a lasting, tryst, with my Alchemist!
Strewn, all o’er, my fading fief
Enigma, of my, existence
Life’s lie, flirted, with my belief
Death is, substance, beyond senescence!
From cradle’s myth, to the truth, of grave
Keeper, of my faith, and fear, of my sin
You’re the boon, and bane, my mother gave
Who squirms, in me, deep down, my skin!
With a fear, spent in, daring despair
I stare, at the end, of my rhapsody
In the throes, of thy ruth, my truth, lay bare
Life’s escapee, in nirvana’s spree, Nearer To Thee …!
