A Land Promised To The Black Jews Too

In the enigma of their arrival
Lies the pursuit of their existence
Untethered from ethnic shackle
Are they pilgrims of inconsequence!

In the search of traces time erased
To the cradle of their nativity
They find their bloodline is two-faced
Blacks beseeching white identity!

Strewn Moses’ litters near and far
Who are lesser, who, more Jews, of those
Which one of them truest avatar
Of a race entrapped in history’s throes!

Through the pilgrimage to estrangement
Black believers baptize in white taboo
To kiss the dust of their faith’s sacrament
A Land Promised To The Black Jews Too!
