Of, by, and for, one dynasty!
Where went, astray, a hard-fought dream
When India won her democracy
She lost, her soul, what did, she redeem!

Was with destiny, or ignominy, a nation’s tryst
Did Nehru hail, a nation’s win, or an, ethos’ defeat
When was, would be, such a, brash heist
Democracy became, dynasty’s deceit!

Came 1975, Indira begrudged, her pride’s debacle
“Domination is, my dynasty’s, right”
When burst out, her tyranny’s, spectacle
That dream, was lost, in the dark, of the night!

So the, Congress-Queen, went on, to reign
A utopia, built with, sweat and tears
To be, baptized in, politics of pain
A Republic Lost To Dynasty’s Fears!
