My cherished thoughts, in your lexicon
If not blasphemous, what they are?
My doggerel, your oxymoron!
Was worth your bin, my ‘awful’ avatar!
How far you took, intellectual jihad
Beyond contempt, for a ‘mocking bird’
That you slayed her, for despotic fad
So doesn’t, fret you, her spirit interred!
How easy, it’s to wound, a mind
With the ‘weapon’, of ingenuity
For we, chose to be, ever-colorblind
To redeem, our thoughts’, ambiguity!
How much, you try, to banish me
For the sake, of your, cherished chagrin
Will outlast you, my ‘heresy’
My Poems You Tossed In Your Bin!
