Drips down to earth, heavens’ molten spree
Ablaze azure, shades of furor!
Lit up, each shred, like a Christmas tree
Dare call it, yearning’s metaphor!
The two embrace, in a grand bloodbath
A sinking star, and a soaring soul
Twilight bemoans, love’s aftermath
Whilst night revels, lovemaking’s toll!
Oh! How I long to sculpt, your cupric sheen
To my, soul-stirring, soliloquy
What lay beyond, and worlds’ between
A fallen bard, his poesy!
As dusk dissolves, in bleeding sin
I brace to kiss, day’s lingering sigh
A patient, drunk in, pain’s chagrin
O’er rusting land, Under Copper Sky!
