Why plight of man, is a pilgrimage
With the burden, of his destiny
The only truth is, but to age
Whilst counting miles, to nihility!
A drudgery, and a wanderlust
Meander like, two stray serpents
Man finds himself, in the trodden dust
That his faith in, hopefulness invents!
Why wander when, nowhere to reach
Weather the same, splintered feat
And etch on time, what histories teach
Yet another tale of, a quest’s defeat!
Tentacles of an octopus, or a widow’s arms
Or a whore’s allure, lay miles and miles bare
Who sowed my search, in these barren farms
A deceit debonair, Long Roads To Nowhere!
