A prism it takes, to lay it bare
The mirth of light’s, mystic despair
And all the blues, that underlie
There’s more to bliss, than meets the eye!
That inbred fling, betwixt the two
Is the poise, which makes a soul endure
A life, all its daring rendezvous
We shortchange, with a long detour!
Behind each smile, is a tear unshed
What makes joy sweet, ain’t ever the end
Before every tryst, had the hearts not bled
Would love be worth, to earn and spend!
Why to yearn forever, be their destiny
How could Satan be, rapture’s blue-eyed boy!
Our sublime sin, God’s felony!
Pain Is The Truth, In The Heart Of Joy!
