In Remembrance Of A Long-Lost Heart

Could estranged be, me from the one
Who kindles life, in my dormant form!
And love, in the sanctum, mystique spun
A soul that holds, my reckless storm!

How I yearn to death, those blithe days
When we had tête-à-têtes, over broken toys
Unheard was, ‘love’, a beguiling malaise
Just the two of us, in the bliss of poise!

When I feel my breast, I hear you throb
No more for me, but a spent liaison
Why long-lost mates, do not hobnob
Whose mayhem was it, who lost, who won!

Would it not be a sin, to call you infidel?
Had it not been, my faith, you tore apart
Yet erupts, no bounds, my unspent carousal
In Remembrance Of A Long-Lost Heart!
