Truth’s A Lie, If It Doesn’t Hurt

Amidst a mob of, solemn veils
Who am I, but a blatant lie?
Those lessons of, lost fairytales
Not worth a dime, to sell or buy!

Bedizened lies, in fallacious flair
Lay a truth seduced, in deadened despair
“Truth’s a pain sublime” they all daresay
“Your cult died out, in the times passé!”

“Whilst I hold out, thru bigoted trials
You vamoose, to your blind alleys
A megalith, amidst, tombs of guiles
I live on strong, past your wily maze!”

The creed of truth, is a sin sublime
Which fanatics of facts, ever reassert
What Luthers, Gandhis…proved over time
Truth’s A Lie, If It Doesn’t Hurt!
