Death In A Silent Evening

vikas chandra

Why hold a breath, to hear a lie
Or plead to heavens, for renaissance
Better set it loose, and let it die
For true deed, of death is, nonchalance!

Could vivid be more, this last sojourn
Riding on the sighs of, dying sun
In yearnings, penance, burn and burn
And rue over, life-death liaison!

I see the shadows, grow and grow
Like specters, swaying on my soul
In the farm of life, death dares to sow
Seeds of salvation, on the dole!

Yet solacing is, how ends lasting myth
When nirvana’s lust, takes over me
How its fall, revels, this monolith
In a silent evening’s, dying spree!
