Let Today, Be That Day…

Let Today, Be That Day…
When we stop to slumber, in the cradle of time
Break three hands at last, of that dwarfing mime
Bathe in blood of our fears, brace our feet of clay
Stand tall, on the grave of that, haunting yesterday

Let Today, Be That Day…
When we stop to cling on, to our faith, our lord
Let’s blunt the ends, of this double-edged sword
When we bury our God, in the dust of pasts
Let man no more live, a death that lasts

Let Today, Be That Day…
When we forsake our things, our clans, our kin
And hermits, we become, on the tomb of our sin
Let that peace now echo, in our souls astray
Which never was heard, in our holy melee

Let Today, Be That Day…
Which fears, no senescence, no decadence, no end
May it be a passing song, which time can’t spend!
Where mind dares the heart, and heart soul’s say
Let life be not a caged bird, but a soiled child’s play

Let Today, Be That Day, Let Today, Be That Day…
