Never was so spent, this riot in me
Nor the mists of angst, so far away
That tide died down, in the sanctum of my sea
Which raged a furor, at my bay
Every Storm Is, So Quiet Today
Why estranged am I, to that foe that was time
Of a man, who languished , on a dream astray
Summing surges, on the face, of depths sublime
That cradled my heart, like a ferry at quay
Every Storm Is, So Quiet Today
So be it, or be it so!
In dire straits, how it counts, anyway
The seeds of storm, which solitudes sow
Are sleeping, in the tombs of decay
Every Storm Is, So Quiet Today
My heart tells me, on the spur of the spree
“At last, lay bare, furor’s feet of clay!”
“This ain’t the end, of Lord’s decree
Who plays with squalls, to hold His sway”!
So to say, “Every Storm Is, So Quiet Today”
