The Timeless Man

Where began the age, of that endless myth
Many manly yarns, their lasting lies
He stands on time, a dogged megalith
A God-made man, man-made God’s prize!

Immortal seed, and the tree it tends
Through histories fruit, its mortal sins
Enduringly, man makes, and mends
Where ends an age, an age begins

Of those who make, don’t make a name
In a world of mob, of faceless folks
A handful those, who put to shame
God’s arrogance, His masterstrokes

And death a boon, that never kills
Though fortifies, a constant clan
The pull of life, world’s bursting fills
Left half-seduced, the timeless man
