As I Decay!

How I lay, in the ash of time
Lost in dust, my feet of clay
Born to rust, a creed sublime
A sinful mime, as I decay!

All goblets pay, the price of calm
In the sea of lust, float dreams astray
Coos lasting thirst, a haunting psalm
In life’s killing farm, as I decay!

Who made me, why it made me so?
To end endlessly, everyday
Is shackled to be, a man’s way to grow?
Death a deed as though, as I decay!

Where a fortress, now a tomb stands tall
A seed diminished, many miles away
Every name vanished, from the wall
A man dismantled, once for all, as I decay!
